Rosie Dore is an illustrator based in Co. Mayo, Ireland.  She graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, UK with an Illustration and Animation BA (Hons) degree in 2019.

She has a particular fascination for animals and the natural world, and loves drawing animal characters and interpreting their imagined personalities and behaviour, using research and real-life observations as a constant guide.

Her work also branches into fantasy and human subjects however, with a love of stories and visual narrative, and is created using a mixture of both watercolour, pen and ink and other traditional materials alongside digital media.

Overall she aims to produce works that are emotive, quirky and characterful,
and to instill appreciation and wonder for the many creature
subjects that feature in them.

More of her work can also be seen on Instagram , Facebook and Tumblr.
